What if there were a global inventory in minecraft? Like a place where players can store up to 20 items for example. This way when they switch servers they can equip stuff on them.

    What do you guys think?

Not exactly for this. If you have a server community there is a way to set global inventories between servers. But as a general global inventory, you can place 20 things of what ever you want and go from server to server, this would lead to so much cheating. You could open a temp server or even just go on to a creative server then use this global inventory to transfer items and materials to a survival server. Minecraft isn't an MMO.

Yea that's definitely a good way of looking at it. Maybe if this global inventory only existed between large online server. Lets say you need an average of 30 people online in order to participate in the global inventory. This way cheating will be very limited.

I'm thinking of more the MineZ approach and that their servers are networked. At least this is how it used to work haven't been on MineZ in a while. But basically you can log into any of their servers and your account info is transferred between them.
