In the Army we had something called close air support. This is where ground units co-ordinated with aircraft to attack enemy positions. This is key in a successful ground attack. I would like to have a couple of good pilots to get with me for practice to see if we can this a viable game plan. You have to be able to stick with me and not go after the first jet/chopper you see.
Forgot to add that this is not about boosting your personal KDR but about helping our team to win the round.
The problem with that plan is that if a pilot doesn't go after the first jet/chopper they see, chances are it will kill them before they can do anything to help you.
I decided to go with an attack chopper instead of a jet. The chopper will have a more tactical advantage over the jet and can stay exactly where I need them. Anyone still up for it? I need about 4-5 guys, some guys as OPFOR (opposing force), chopper crew and ground side forces.
What about the ground supporting the air with Stinger wieners... say... 1 Squad focuses on supporting the air units, and then one squad attacks the objective...
Good Lord Joker, what's wrong with you? That makes entirely tooo much sense! And you said you were in the Army? lol! That would be a good idea we can try on one of the air maps.
